We Went To The Zoo Zoo Zoo… - Summer Court

What a brilliant trip we had to Paignton Zoo this week! It’s always a bit touch and go weather wise at this time of year, but the morning was glorious and in the afternoon we all laughed as we dodged the showers!

Dawlish Disability Transport made it a very easy ride as our ladies in wheelchairs were comfortable for the journey. They really enjoyed looking at the colours in the hedgerows at this time of year.

Most of the animals came out to greet us, but the highlight of the trip was feeding the giraffes. This was such a privilege being able to see them so close. We also got very close to the peacock who joined us for our picnic lunch. He needed reminding that cheese sandwiches weren’t on his menu!
