All Change!
It’s been such a busy start to the year, and what an exciting positive time we are having!
We welcomed our new manager, Carol, to Summercourt in February and she is finding her way around beautifully. Carol comes to us with loads of experience including working with Devon County Council, CQC and managing a home in Torquay. All of this experience coupled with her wonderful caring nature will really help us at Summercourt to remain a lovely place to live.
Megan, our activity worker, has also been busy keeping our residents occupied. We have been out to the Alice Cross Centre for drive and dine, done lots of baking, continuing to knit and natter and had our brains buzzing with quizzes. And tomorrow is National Women’s Day, so we have posh frocks and hats ready for the occasion. Watch this space for the pictures!

We are proud to provide excellent care for our residents and are committed to training our staff so that they can provide this. We also employ specialist activity workers to ensure that residents are able to enjoy a variety of activities.
